little birds at Songbird coffee house

Placed at 214 East Roosevelt Street in downtown Phoenix on the bright morning of December 28...

two small works are available in downtown Phoenix today

Here is one of them!

In case you are curious about what ends up happening to the paintings and drawings, there will be a report.  I may sum it up after the first year, or perhaps after the first hundred pieces have been placed.  I'm curious about several variables, and it will take some time to play and experiment with trustgallery.

A small introduction in San Francisco

Two pieces will be placed in San Francisco this weekend, roundabout the Mission District.  Keep your eyes open.   Here's one of them.

The first home has been found...

...for a small drawing called, delightfully, "Personal Responsibility."

an auspicious, relaxed launch

Three small pieces will be placed out in the world today at the San Diego Contemporary Art Fair, held this year in Balboa Park.  Each has a label with this website address, and a QR code that links directly to that piece's shop page. I hope they find good homes.

This is a great beginning to trustgallery.
It seems...sustainable.

well said:

"When you buy from an independent artist you are buying more than just a painting or a novel or a song.  You are buying hundreds of hours of experimentation and thousands of failures.  You are buying days, weeks, months, years of frustration and moments of pure joy...You aren't just buying a thing, you are buying a piece of heart, part of a soul, a private moment in someone's life.  Most importantly, you are buying that artist more time to do something they are truly passionate about; something that makes all of the above worth the fear and the doubt; something that puts the life into the living."
